And finally, perhaps the biggest advantage to the RSP Ambulance Simulator, at least from an administrative point of view, is the low cost of the simulator as compared to the purchase and maintenance of a real ambulance vehicle. Although many programs are able to have an ambulance donated by a local service, such units are often at the end of their service life and have become a cost and maintenance burden. Plus, they are less convenient than simulator that is always available in a controlled environment and does not need a driver, parking space, fuel, insurance, etc.
